The purpose of Fall Ball is to continue to play baseball, try other positions, and possibly play at a level the player will be trying out for the next year. (For example, if player played AA but will be going into 3rd or 4th grade next year then he would most likely play Minors level (AAA). If player played AAA last year but will try out for Majors next year then he would want to play Majors in the fall. If player played Majors this year but is a 12 year old and will play Modified next year then he may want to play Juniors in the Fall.)

The options are as follows:

1. FM Fall Ball -

The season will start at the end of August and lasts until the middle of October.
Games are played on Saturday and Sunday on both FM and JD fields.
There are two age groups:

A. Minors - League age 8 - 9
B. Majors - League age 10 - 12 (9 year olds who will play Majors in the spring of 2007 may be able to play based upon ability, and 12 year olds may elect to play Majors but are not allowed to pitch.

2. District 8 -

The season starts at the end of August and lasts until the middle of October.
Games are played as double headers on Sunday at different fields within District 8
The age groups are:

A. League age 8 - 10 (Minors)
B. League age 10 - 12 (Majors)
C. League age 12 - 13 (Juniors) (12 year olds that want to play on a 90' diamond can play District 8 at the Juniors level.)
D. League age 14 - 16 (Seniors)

The registration fee for Fall Ball has not been determined yet but should be in the range of $50.00 to $60.00 for Minors and Majors. Fall Ball needs many people to run effectively so we need volunteers for coaching, umpiring and field maintenance before and after games.
